Formation du Personnel Médical

In 1949 the Kalenda medical school was founded in Kasai, where nurses, laboratory staff and medical assistants were trained. A dispensary adjacent to the hospital allowed students to practise what they had been taught. Similarly, the nursing school at Mikalai gave proper training to young girls willing to specialise.
