A revolutionary has been looking for general Albrecht for quite some time now, the man responsible for the deaths of the freedom fighter's wife and daughter. He finds Albrecht, who is sick of his own life, sitting on a park bench, a bizarre game of cat-and-mouse ensues. Misguided ideologies, frayed tempers, moral abysses, flaming cravings for revenge, unsolved questions of guilt, destructive self-doubts, revealing memories, ghostly voices and passionate feelings fight for the upper hand. A verbal duel, head-to-head, for life, death and a variety of things that fall in between. Annihilation is the aspiration, eternity is just another word for fruitlessness, another expression for A & F. A grotesque.
