The Fishtank

The loneliest and saddest place I've ever been to was a nursing home. And yet I walked in as often as I could to visit my grandma; a woman who once taught me the fifty states and showed me how to love, and who now doesn't know my name. There is no greater pain than the feeling of helplessness. How can I let her deteriorate in this institution? But what else can I do?
