A 22-year-old kid named Max takes a late night cruise on the streets of Laredo, Texas. Driving down one of the main strips in town, San Bernardo Avenue, he picks up a girl named Eady waiting by herself at a bus stop. The cruise continues and takes Eady for a little sight seeing. A romance ensues. Max later on the night picks up a complete stranger hitching for a ride near a traffic light and turns out to be a life threatening outcome.
