Detective Silko Bransen must piece together the strange antics of Strategy Maree (and her band-mates, the Bang Bang Twins) at the Vagabond Inn. He uncovers the story of how Strategy's prank to steal bibles from other rooms went terribly wrong, resulting in a fight between an angry hobo and a young church-going man who loses an ear in the scuffle.
