Gay man Kyle Freeman becomes an 'accidental activist' when he defies the Canadian Blood Services' ban on men who have had sex with men and donates blood illegally. He is found out, and sued, by Blood Services. This documentary follows Kyle and his story, as well as prominent gay rights lawyer Doug Elliott.
