Socrates, a child soldier patrolling an isolated border crossing between two warring states, looks to the day when he can 'earn his scar' by killing the enemy and so join the Bloodboys who employ him. But when he is ordered to execute a suspected terrorist he must decide between his ambition and his humanity.
