Alice and Tonda are trying to solve their marriage crisis more or less in the usual way. Their infidelities start to overwhelm them. It reveals the complexity of relationships, the general depravity of contemporary humanity and the question is if everything is just coincidence or if it is all driven by the 'ironic hand of fate'?
