Chiara, a painter and horsewoman, meets a French businessman, Geo, (who is visiting from L.A.) while painting plein air in the red rocks of Sedona. They picnic together and exchange phone numbers and plan to stay in touch but Geo leaves his phone behind. After wondering why he never got back in touch with her, Chiara is influenced by another painter, a portrait painter, and decides to paint a portrait of Geo on to the landscape she was working on when they first met. Sure enough, synchronicity and serendipity combine to bring them back together again.
