Money Honey, a Canadian rock and roll band from Thunder Bay, Ontario, has been struggling for years trying to catch a break in the music industry. Finally, the band caught the attention of big time producer Dale Penner (who has produced albums for bands such as, Econoline Crush, Holly Mcnarland, and Nickelback). When Penner heard Money Honey's demo he immediately invited them up to his recording studio in Winnipeg Manitoba for two weeks where they recorded their first professional EP. Before they left, Money Honey was preparing to have the time of their lives. Through a series of interviews, each member of the band speaks a little about the bands past, current state, and future. As well, the band explains what they expect when they get to the studio. When Money Honey arrives at Penners studio in Winnipeg, they quickly realized the fun filled recording adventure they had expected, was actually going to be a lot of hard work. The band wasn't prepared for the producers constructive criticism of their music. When Penner demands changes to the songs, the band members react negatively. Throughout their two week stay, filled with long twelve hour recording days, getting on each others nerves and Dale Penner's negative feedback, the band contemplates whether or not this opportunity is worth the hard work and stress.
