In order to reach her dream of becoming a buffalo hunter, Halohausaka has to win over her fear of heights, so to be able to climb to the top of the Plateau, where the buffaloes live. Halohausaka's journey moves from the attempt to win over her fears and brings her to an unexpected attainment.
