After the Tsunami, Chef Daniel Boulud leads 8 star New York chefs on a mission to Japan to serve a beautifully prepared meal for the people still living in emergency housing in Tohoku. Tohoku is a rural region, dependent on their plentiful fishing and agriculture to rebuild, but their products are being avoided because of radiation fears. The chefs cook with all local-sourced ingredients, and share a meal with 2500 evacuees.
