Holed up in a cheap Motel, Jack Everett, a war vet on the run is on the booze and checking his gun is loaded so he can finish what he went AWOL to do. It is a bad time for his estranged daughter, Luna to show up at his door. Both unsure of what the other wants from them they try to work out what they have both missed in the past few years.
