Based on an essay by philosopher David Hume this is an experimental film inspired by real female specimens currently hosted by the Mutter Museum in Philadelphia. Their stories are revealed through the presence of a beautiful young woman, a timeless visitor who will be the witness of the secrets of these mysterious and somehow unfortunate medical marvels. Like a twisted Alice in Wonderland, walking slowly among the dimly lit cases she soon realizes that she is becoming the silent listener and witness of the events that these deceased women are eager to tell. But is she herself a ghost from the past?
