Lend Me Your Eye is a short documentary that explores David Star Royal King's colorful character, ideology and extraordinary way of life. David is 40 years old and was once a talented boxer, however when he was 23 a traumatic incident changed his life forever. During an unprovoked gang attack, David was shot in the head resulting in the loss of his eye and being left with brain damage. Against all odds he learned to walk and talk again and is now an avid artist and activist who speaks out and teaches listeners about his political view points. This poetic and lyrical film, follows David during his daily life and allows the viewer to experience his extremely intelligent, yet often misunderstood philosophy.
