Sacrifice and Bliss takes place on Christmas Eve, 1945. It is a heartwarming and inspirational short film about a father who gives up his place on earth so that his daughter can be born. The two meet at a jumping-off point between earth and the after-life. It is in this beautiful, otherworldly setting that the daughter explains to her father the details of the 'deal we made a long time ago'.
