Jeff, a struggling individual who suffers from antisocial personality disorder, does not understand basic moral principles, nor does he understand emotions. After accidentally killing his girlfriend, he and his sister work to defend him in the murder trial. This defense is made difficult by the fact that Jeff does not have the ability to feel empathy, therefore does not feel bad about his girlfriends death.
