In the summer of 2011, a group of filmmakers set out for Ghana, West Africa to document what they thought to be a legitimate and effective non-governmental organization (NGO) known as Ga Gbeke Bii in the hopes of bringing attention to the struggles of Ghanaian street children. What they found, however, was a crisis far more hidden and far less addressed. We Rise and Fall takes audiences on an emotional journey to discovering that not all NGOs are what they seem.
