Post Card

Post Card is a love letter in black-and-white film. It was shot over a five-year period during which time Beatriz and I made several moves before separating. While living in a studio apartment in Chicago I began to write letters to her I would never send. The film evokes the uncertainty of transmission and impossibility of fulfillment. Addressed to a beloved nobody in the audience knows, it gives voice to a love lost somewhere in canyons of the American West.
