The Sultan is a master of music therapy in Southern Iran. The Mama or godmother whose son is inflicted with Zar begs the Sultan to cure him, but the Sultan has sworn never to play the Zar again. This Docu-drama is a portrayal of the Zar and music therapy in the lives of people in Southern Iran as well as the traditions and customs of the region.
