Emma, a young woman, dies a young age of a drug overdose and enters a metaphysical realm where she will have to choose between rejecting her infiltrating past or suffering from it. She awakens in a dark room and all she is given is a radio and a lighter. A distant voice is the only communication she has and quickly learns the rules which she must obey to keep the room from being entered by the apparitions of her own memories.
