'Pastime' gives us a glimpse into the lives of Josh and Matt, two young brothers growing up in a post-oil society. Due to ongoing power outages, they have lost contact with their mom who has left them in the care of a distant relative. When younger brother Matt gets himself in trouble for his carelessness, tensions boil over, and Josh decides it is time to go find mom.
