ISLAND is a portrait of the inner world of a 20 year old girl depicted through various moments of self-absorption, abandon and immersion. The film culminates in the girl's journey from the city to the wilderness at dawn and explores what it means to exist within a dichotomy between public and private life, between nature and civilization.
