Jana Prevratska is a woman wh,o because of her role as a dissident, was forced to leave her home country of Czechoslovakia in the 1980s and start a new life in Canada. As Jana remembers and reconciles with her past, we get a glimpse of what life was like under communist rule and the reasons why one might want to bury the past.
