It's been two years since many fishermen lost their homes and all their possessions in the 2010 tsunami that hit Chile. Fisherman's wife Carolina lost the fishing ship her father left her to provide for her family. Amidst complicated bureaucratic issues and political interests, the villagers of this coastal town are still living in emergency huts with deplorable sanitary conditions when it seems everyone else has moved on. The way they see it, they can either succumb to the sorrow of loss or adapt and try to rebuild. After all media have abandoned the issue; the filmmaker goes back to follow two of its victims as they stand up against the odds and embrace the sea once more.
