On a lonely stretch of road, two motorists (Ralph Scott & Mary Dysert) come to the aid of a deaf and battered tourist with bloody ears (scOtt summitt). When they almost collide with a second bloody traveler (Za Unitt) who is comforted by their mysterious passenger, they are plunged into a silent world of fear, suspicion and distrust. They soon learn only one thing is certain - in silence, you can't always hear the truth.
