Lifesavers

'Lifesavers' is a short documentary about the brave and dangerous work of helicopter medics in Afghanistan. Using powerful imagery - the like of which is close to nonexistent in war documentaries - 'Lifesavers' tells a story about the rescue of a wounded man. The film is a portrait, and seeks to tell the story through images, not words. There are no voice overs or interviews - we wanted the subjects' faces to speak to speak for themselves.
