David Geffen loves to dance and loves to be in the water. He does not swim anymore even though he grew up in Southern California. Diving into a sand bar head first while thinking about a girl he loved paralyzed him from the waist down, over than thirty years ago. Geffen has dedicated his life to helping people with disabilities get a fair chance at living happy lives. He admits it is only for selfish reasons that he does what he does. It just helps him sleep better at night. My hero.
