Tehokkenhén:tons, ('Close to Death') is a darkly dramatic, character-driven cautionary tale. The failed suicide attempt of a lonely, disconnected poet is not what it seems when he finds new life through his encounters with Annenake, a cryptic young Mohawk nurse assigned to his suicide watch.
