A retired a Pan Am pilot, Walt, goes to a company reunion only to discover that he has outlived most of his old friends. Walt confronts the reality of his own imminent death and tries to cope with the loss of his friends. He desperately tries to reconnect with the last person remaining from his glory days as a pilot. Walt finds solace in flying, the only thing he has left.
