Teacher Diana Boylston, continues to work with the young people of New Orleans as they struggle to find a place for themselves in a society that, three years later, still offers them little support. Unnatural Disaster: Falling through the cracks, chronicles the continuing struggles of a group of students and their former teacher for the year after Hurricane Katrina. Believing that everyone deserves a voice, Diana lends her own, as she puts a face on the hurricane's youngest victims. While some complain of burnout, many young people continue to fall through the cracks. This film speaks for them.
