Clara goes to Paris to visit a man she fell in love with in Berlin. But he is nowhere to be found. She spends her time alone in Paris. She feels the disappointment the city of love and light can behold but she also sees it's mesmerizing beauty. In the end she drives back home. Some time later she coincidentally runs into Gaspard on the street. He does not know she went all the way to Paris to see him. Carrousel is a bittersweet comedy about missed opportunities and taking chances.
