Exit K1 is a road sign at the outskirts of Athens, in Greece. It directs drivers to leave the road system that connects the airport to the city, at a point where the asphalt ends. It is an exit point from the motorway into an off-road geography, where the invisible journeys of clandestine migrants co-exist next to contemporary urban mobility, at the edges of Europe and the Mediterranean.
