Elm Gardens

"Elm Gardens" is a character driven Drama about an aging nurse, Cassie, who sees reflections of her future in a dying elderly man, Alfonso. In Alfonso, Cassie notices for the first time that she is getting older and near retirement. Alfonso is an elderly farmer who longs to be back with his vines; the symbol of renewing life. The film highlights the solace one goes through while being in a convalescent home. Through his brief relationship with Cassie, Alfonso achieves his wish of visiting his vines one last time: either in his dreams or reality.
