A struggling artist seeks inspiration while his ex wife prevents him from seeing his daughter. Tony is not the deadbeat dad his ex makes him out to be. He is still emotionally available to her, even if for the time being he can't give her financial support. In the meantime, his ex is dating the art gallery owner from whom he seeks to solicit an exhibit, albeit to not avail. Tony loves his daughter and taking care of her is one of the reasons why he is pursuing his art so relentlessly.
