Culbreth Middle School, NC. It is that time again when the Student Council elections occur and this short documentary joins a handful of the 8th grade candidates hoping to run successful 2-week campaigns. We have the outsider Ryan Lindberg, who is running a sparse campaign free of gimmicks or handouts but hopes his promises of less homework and more field trips will win over his peers. Then we have Leah Adams - sporty and popular and focused on making connections with people and encouraging her supporters to wear crocs as a sign of support. The final focal student is Cara Prichard - very popular in her previous school but here is the new girl and is hoping to turn her newness into a message of new ideas and change.
