Stingrays

Stingrays is a thought provoking story of two friends who suffered at the hands of child abuse, and are trying to find happiness in a world that wont let them forget their past. Amber is beaten and neglected by her mother, while Charlie's abuse stays hidden behind closed doors. With no one to turn to, Amber becomes close to Charlie and Charlie becomes her protector. While growing up Charlie and Amber try to find happiness amongst drugs, sex and violence. Overtime their feelings for each other change and their friendship develops into a complex tragedy. As their paths diverge, Charlie finds acceptance while Amber struggles to find self worth.
