In the same place time can stop for one person, while for somebody else it keeps on going. A home is a place where we are 'at ours', while the others feel guests. But maybe it is us being guests, in a place where the others feel at home? What if our home is also a home for someone we don't know? Szczecin, the city in North-West Poland, close to the German border, is a place where such questions appear. 'Our place' presents lodgers of one house in Szczecin - the present and the former. One of many houses in Pogodno district turns out to be a crossing point of stories, which are very different from one another, yet surprisingly similar on the emotional level.
