7 Solos documents the musical journey of a musician in search of his place in the world. The audience watches his travels by way of a tourist telescope as the musicians wanders over several landscapes and changes of seasons. With each solo, the musician adopts a character suited to the environment - lost shepherd, forest minstrel, country gentleman, mystic priest, unemployed laborer and finally a hooded creature. As he reaches his final destination, the final piece is played and his true identity is revealed.
