A young actress goes to an audition. Normally, she is a talented performer so she is quite likely to be hired. The trouble is that she is terribly stressed out. Her friend, who accompanies her tries to cheer her up, but to no avail. They stop at a café, where two men, the waiter and a customer, congratulate the actress on her beauty, but she rebukes them both. Back in the streets, the young lady trips and... falls into a pool! When she arrives on the spot, she is in a sorry state. To crown it all, the casting director happens to be... the man she met at the café!
