An edgy young woman, Mcmarz, is an ex Jehovah's Witness who attempts to save a stray dog after it has been hit by an arrogant, self-centered lawyer on his way to work. His initial reaction is to just drive away, but for once, he's unselfish and goes back to help McMarz. Although they are opposites, they discover an unlikely human connection.
