On an isolated farmstead, Eli watches as his older brother, Aaron, decides to take matters into his own hands after their father has beaten and threatened the family. Aaron takes his fathers gun and pursues him, but before he can reach him his mother reasons him out of following through with his plan. When he returns Eli decides to take action himself.
