Songwriting with Soldiers is a non-profit endeavor that seeks to unite professional songwriters with combat veterans. The resulting collaboration provides a therapeutic outlet for people who have experienced combat and have difficulty expressing themselves through conventional means. Two songwriters, Darden Smith and Jay Clementi, together with US Army combat veteran Scott McRae take us through the liberating experience of creating music from Scott's story.
