Under the motto 'AWO against exclusion', a race for children organized by the German charitable organization AWO took place during the TUIfly Marathon Hanover. The whole city is turned upside when children march drumming through the streets, accompanied by stilt walkers, artists, mythical creatures and music bands. The festival of cultures 2011 revives the feeling of the Expo, African drums, mongolian-oriental rhythms, Reggae, and Samba, the sounds of the world blew across the Trammplatz.
