'Freedom' tells the story of a fictional puppet, living in the real world, searching for true freedom in 12 steps based on the 12 signs of the zodiac. He finds that freedom is something very personal. But then freedom is a collective topic too. He defines freedom according to the pyramid of needs by Abraham Maslow, but the theoretical answers doesn't satisfy him, so he travels to Egypt to broaden his perspective. In Egypt he meets best selling authors Robert Bauval and Graham Hancock. He gets guided by Egyptian Yousef Awyan, son of the famous late Egyptologist Hakim and he meets people from all over the world that remind him of the concept of transformation. Back home he reconsiders his whole life, starting with his relationships. He goes on questioning his way of life, realizing that he needs to take full responsibility for his deeds. Feeling strong about how to live he realizes that he needs to know who he really is, so his path hits the spiritual level. He looks for ways to contact his higher self in order to find out what his mission is in this life, because fulfilling that mission will bring him the feeling of true freedom. When he finally gets the answers he needs, he lives his life the way he really should.
