Piano Rites is a portrait of a rambling, hole-in-the wall warehouse in the South Bronx cluttered with 400-odd pianos and peopled by the eccentric characters who restore them. This short documentary film touches on the decline of a once-majestic instrument and the dying craft of piano restoration.
