WWII: July, 1943 - The Invasion of Sicily commences. Twenty four hours from where our journey begins, a Canadian General was last reported in forests of Sicily. He carried detailed plans about an ambush from the West and South regiments in the dossier he was carrying about. He has been presumed lost- or dead. Both the Germans and Canadians find out, and send two of their younger soldiers to set out and retrieve them. Our story commences when a local Italian girl, named Azzura, finds these important documents before the soldiers do. As the story unfolds, we discover how these characters - who seem totally different from each other - oddly come together in a time of war, through the abundant forests of bellissima Sicilia.
