THE LAST GOODBYE is the story of an estranged family, and the desperate will to reconnect. The angelic Stella travels to Paris to reunite with her narcissistic DJ mother Bianca. They have not seen each other for seven years, and have to work at finding harmony and a natural bond. Both originally from Australia, Stella stays with Bianca in her small Paris apartment and we explore the gradual repair of a mother-daughter relationship. The wounds from the past are explored, but we sense all going well - until Stella meets a charismatic French boy and Bianca competes for his affections.
