When Helen discovers that her recently dead husband was having a gay love affair, she sets out to confront his lover, only to discover that she has more in common with him than she cares to admit. Having to face the reality of her wasted life, Helen realizes that she can no longer hide in her 'respectable' life and must chose between a life in color or a life in beige.
