Purple is a poetic recounting of a woman who was born into the tragic life of sexual exploitation. Abandoned at birth in a dumpster by her prostitute mother, she grows up being sexually abused for her foster father's own financial gain and from then on, the life of walking the streets becomes all that she knows. Soon she finds that she has become pregnant and is faced with the decision of following suit with her own mother's decision. This film is based on and narrated by the poem Purple by Joe GoFoe.
